The title Zip Code Injustice … just the title defines the reality we are faced

with today. If there had been zip codes or registered areas in history,

I’m sure the injustice may have been tagged to the plantations,

the homeless neighborhoods, the sections of town where immigrants lived,

the lower-income communities.

There were those who opposed the system, those who fought injustice, and those who lost their homes and lives during the fight. Today we question which side another may stand on, and in many cases, we can’t tell the difference.

It’s a hard divide but it’s impossible not to see injustice is no longer smoldering.

There’s truth in this novel that we must face as a multi-cultural, multi-racial, multi-whatever society. My prayer is that we put out the fires before they consume us all.
