We knock and wait for someone to answer, someone to invite us in. Often we knock on the door knowing what to expect when it opens. A friend, family, a job, new opportunities…..we knock and they answer.
Behind many of the doors are the answers we anticipate. But for every time there is a great answer there are the times when what we expected is disappointing. We knock knowing the answer. We knock knowing there will be no support, no progress, no one there to answer.
“Behind many of the doors are the answers we anticipate. But for every time there is a great answer there are the times when what we expected is disappointing.”
Stop knocking on the doors of disappointment, the doors of resentment, the doors of discouragement, the doors of failure, the doors of fear. Those who stand at those doors will attempt to invite you in. Insisting you join them in the misery and the experience of delayed attempts, they will simply repeat, “It ain’t worth it”. Stop knocking at the doors of confusion, the doors that have one way in and no way out. Those who stand at the door remind you there is no place better than where you are. They will tell you that you are no better than those seated in the room of doubt and bitterness.
“The doors of hope, progress, better than, and fulfillment are open..”
Stop knocking on the doors of discontent, the doors of non-belief…….the doors that will never give you a key to success.
The doors of hope, progress, better than, and fulfillment are open. You won’t have to call for support and never get a return call or answer. The doors of “you can” will be open for your goals, and your plans. You won’t have to worry about a way out, there will be detours and delays but those doors will lead you on. There will always be doors of choice, doors with questions, doors where you will have to decide…..not to knock on the familiar doors of disappointment.
